Mallow United 4-0 Mungret Regional
Mallow United U14 Boys are through to the last 16 of the National Cup after defeating Mungret Regional FC 4-0 at a wet and windy Moatville in Charleville Afc this afternoon. Aaron Owens opened the scoring for Mallow with a sublime free kick before Cathal Mullins added a second before the break. With the rain easing off in the second half Mullins netted two left foot volleys in quick succession to complete his hat-trick and give Mallow a comfortable 4-0 lead. The Mallow defence under the leadership of Gearóid Daly put in a solid display to keep Mungret at bay and guarantee the win that sees Mallow progress to the last 16 where they will host Dublin side Donneycarney Celtic.
