Mallow United U15A Boys were crowned Cork Schoolboys League Division 2 champions after a 0-0 draw against Carrigaline Hibs on Thursday evening earned them the single point they need to take the title.
Their incredible form over the last few years under the guidance of coaches Kieran O’Connor, Andrew Cottey and Spencer Wilkinson has seen the boys climb through the divisions with a record comparable to Wimbledon in the 1980s. This is the teams 3rd promotion in 3 seasons, they have been division winners 2 seasons in a row and are unbeaten in the league for the last 2 years. Well done boys!
