Cork Schoolgirls League U14 Division 2

Mallow United 6 – 1 Park United

Mallow United U14 girls are going from strength to strength, following on from their convincing win over Kinsale last week they made light work of Mitchelstown’s Park United in St. Marys on Tuesday evening. The Mallow girls were in top form scoring six goals in the first half with Destiny Osamye, Lois Asante and Rejoy Asante all getting 2 each. Megan Buckley had an outstanding performance in the Mallow goal supported in defence by Abbie Hayes, Lauryn O’Flynn, Amy Blake and Nadine Bolster. The Mallow midfield worked tirelessly with Destiny Osayame, Clodagh Lehane, Rejoy Asante and Nicole O Reilly all contributing well to both attack and defence. Up front Mallow posed a constant threat with Lois Asante, Roisin Myers and Lauren Hogan linking well to keep the Park United defence on their toes. The future certainly looks bright for this group of Mallow girls who have shown that they can do more than compete in this their first season in the Cork Schoolgirls League.
