Following a number of training sessions throughout 2017 the Republic of Ireland U15s named their squad for 2018 and Mallow United are delighted to report that they are well represented with two players among the chosen few to get the call up for their country. Included in the Irish squad are Donnchadh O’Doherty and Ciarán O’Sullivan who are both members of the Mallow United U14 squad and are also members of the Cork Schoolboys U14 squad who will play in the Kennedy Cup this coming summer. While the boys have a busy year ahead they will be hoping for success closer to home this coming Sunday as Mallow United U14 host Douglas Hall in the last 16 of the U14 National Cup.
Mallow United would like to say well done to both players as well as their coaches and families who have all helped in their achievements so far.
