A number of Mallow United boys were in Interleague action last weekend representing Cork Schoolboys League at their respective age levels in the SFAI Championships. Mallow Uniteds Godfrey Elue and his Cork Schoolboys League U15 team mates had an impressive 3-1 win over Carlow to book a place in the National final against Sligo/Leitrim. Cork Schoolboys League U13 made it three wins from three in their Munster group stage beating West Cork League 6-1 with Mallow Uniteds Alan O’Connell and Louis Hanover in the squad and Prince Amechi as coach. At U12 Cathal Mullins was part of the Cork United squad who defeated Cork Athletic 2-0 making it nine points from three games in their Munster group stage.
