Cork Schoolboys League U15s claimed the Munster Inter-League Championship last Sunday with a 3 – 1 win over Limerick District League with Mallow Uniteds Godfrey Elue playing in the Cork defence. Closer to home Elue is playing an important role as Mallow United U15s continue their challenge for the Division 1 title. Mallow Uniteds U14s are in National Cup action this weekend taking on Listowel in Charleville on Sunday and among the squad will be Kennedy Amechi, Ben Buckley, Callum Carroll, Artur Osinski, Daniel Ryan, Shane O’Connell, Donnacha Doherty and Ciarán O’Sullivan all of whom have been involved with the Cork Schoolboys League U14 squad this season. The Cork Schoolboys League U13 squad includes Mallows Alan O’Connell, Louis Hanover and Cormac Dilworth while at U12 Cathal Mullins has been pushing for a place in the Cork front line. Mallow United would like to say well done to all as they have done their club very proud through their involvement with the Cork Schoolboys League teams.
