Building on the success of the Football for All section of the club that was established over a year ago Mallow United are set to hold their first Munster Football for All Fun Blitz on Saturday September 16th. Mallow United’s Football for All caters for boys and girls aged 4 to 17 from throughout the North Cork area and encourages participation in sport of children of all abilities. The focus of Football for All is on having fun and it is a place where children who in the past may have been excluded from competitive sports teams are now experiencing all of its benefits.
The Fun Blitz will take place at St. Marys Secondary School Mallow from 2pm to 4pm in the afternoon and it is expected that up to 150 participants from 10 clubs throughout the Munster region will attend. In addition, from 12pm to 2pm on the morning of the Blitz, Mallow United will host the trials for the selection of the Munster Football for All teams in the adjacent Academy Pitch.
Mallow United would like to invite all members of the public to come along on the day and support the participants at this great event.
